Enjoy your weekend! Don't forget you have commitments that are due on Monday. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have done. I hope Mission Market Day was a success. Don't forget to post any questions you have about your research.
See you on Monday :)
Room 5, remember some important internet safety rules when using this site (and others): never give your full name, never give your phone number, address or email details, don't mention where you will be at a particular time, don't put any of that information on the net about anyone else, think carefully if you respond to anyone else's comments because they can't hear your tone of voice, do not call people names or put them down

Research Question
Everyone is busy working on their research question and their reports. We all have a busy time over the next few days and I know some of you will be working on your report over the weekend. Use this post ask questions about your research or your report if you want help in the comment section.
I will be up in Auckland at the England vs Scotland game at the weekend so you will need to be keep checking back if you ask question at the weekend because I won't be able to get back to you straight away but I will answer! (I am going to be supporting Scotland by the way!)

Pajama Poetry Day
The Year 7 students are on camp. The Year 6 students and Miss Paterson have been left behind! What to do? HAVE A PAJAMA POETRY DAY with our teddybears! We have listened to pajama poems, teddy bear poems and stories.
But what have we learned?
We have been learning how to write a free verse poem. We wrote our own poems about our Teddy Bears or our Pajamas. Please read them. Just click on 'comments' below this post. Enjoy!

More holiday snapshots
We are learning to write about a short space of time.
We will know we can do this when:
- we have written about no more than seven minutes of a personal experience
- included adjectives to describe feelings, tastes, smells and what we see
- described our thoughts and emotions.
Click on the comments below to see our fabulous Holiday Snap Shot Stories. Student's work will be published as it is completed.
