Year 7 & 8 Camp

Welcome back guys! We can't wait to see you on Monday morning. Tell us some of the highlights of your camp on here so we can get our questions ready for you over the weekend. I was talking to Mrs Olivier on the phone yesterday and she said you were having a great time.

    Hello class it's me Kendal I have just gotton back from camp and my battery went flat on the camra on first day so I didn't get many photos sorry, but here is what we did...
    we did
    .Archery
    The bow was really heavy and the string has not been broken for 10 years!!
    .Absailing
    The wall we were absailing on was nealy 4 storys high and my group 3&4 won the best absailing group.
    .Rock Climbing
    there was a rock climbing wall in the gym and it went to the roof and the chalenge was to reach the little green rock wich was at the top.
    .Slug Guns
    Me and Seini didn't know a clue about guns and how to shhot them I was suprised because we hit the target a couple of times.
    .Confindce Corse
    The corse had...
    . balance beams
    . tyre swings
    . monkey bars
    . lots of steps up and down
    . sea saw
    The trick is you have 2 people on either side of you and you are not allowed to touch the ground.

    .Low Ropes
    they are a series of ropes and wire activities
    they were ...
    .cross ropes
    .ropes that were crossed over and you had to make it over without touching the ground
    .The chicken walk
    2 wires that you had to walk over with 2 people one side each
    .buching bronc
    A carpet covered barrel connected to three trees and 2 adults were pulling up and down to get me off and i got carpet burn.

    And we had a challenge we had to get our team from one side of the wheel to the other side in under 2 miniutes and we did it in 1.57 seconds and got second in 4 teams.

    We also did lot more but I will let everybody say that
